Document 1788Notes that the strength of the Wabash Indians, who were principally the object of the resolve of 21 July 1787, and the strength of the Creeks is very different. That said, the Creeks are not only greatly superior in numbers, but more united, better regulated, and headed by a man whose talents appear to have fixed him in their confidence, [presumably McGillivray]. Notes that there are no United States troops on the frontiers of Georgia. Knox goes on the describe his plan to man and equip a force of invasion against the Creeks.
