The Invalids who were stationed at West Point under the command of Capt. e M Lane were discharged in [undecipherable] of the act of Congress of the 7th June 1785. – Returns of the monies advanced them on this station were transmitted to the several States to which the men belonged to be opposed to the pension allowed them in consequence of the said act - This pension was in lieu of the pay & to commence from the time the men were discharged from their respective regiments or from the Invalid Regiment late commanded by Col. Nicola
