Document 1788Discusses various provisions and supplies with the Secretary at War. Acknowledges that he has received his previous letter enclosing the invoice for 134 suits of clothes. Old carriages are being burnt and the iron stored. Mr. Morrow wishes to purchase some of the old cartridge boxes.

West Point June 18th 1788 I have Received your Letter of 10th Instant, with the Invoice of One hundred and thirty four Suits of Cloth, - by Mr Ketchum - After Counting the Clothing, [undecipherable] it all right, but One Blanket, which is wanting - which I think was miscounted in the packing as the Boxes appeared never to have been Opened since they was first packed up - As I took it be your Intention when here, to have all the old Carriages Burnt, and the Iron Stored - I have begun upon them and will thank you for an Order for so doing - Also wither I shall put the Iron Ordnance out in the Fort upon Skids - If you should think proper, Mr Morrow wishes to purchase some of the old Cartridge Boxes - upon his account of Repairing the Arms - I have given Mr Ketchum a Certificate for transporting the Nine Boxes of Clothing - I am sir, etc. - The Honorable Major General Knox Secretary at War -
