Large boat laden with provisions for treaty set out for Falls of Muskingum. Mentions his tour to Mississippi River and visits to several villages on American and Spanish side. Discusses provisions to Post Vincennes, volume of emigration. Discusses Major Wyllys's report on the one million acres reserved by congress at the mouth of the Ohio for bounty lands to late army. Reports on attacks by Wabash Indians on Lieutenant Spear's party. Expressed hope that recruiting efforts will bring good men. Hopes that clothing can be furnished soldiers. Discusses the hiring of armorers at Fort Pitt. Makes mention of the land company, the Ohio Company of Associates.
