Norwich March 14th 1795
Sir
At the request of the heirs of the late colonel John Darhee and in consequence of some conversation with Oliver Wolcott Junr Esqr I take the liberty to request you would be so kind as to send me a Statement of the accounts of Col. Darhee at your office corrected as it ought to be &cleared of the mistake that was made when Capt. Benjamin Darhee was with you on that subject two years since if I remember rightly.
The reasons of this request are that the account may be closed right & the sum of the mistake taken out of what the State have granted to the heirs for the seven years half pay & they may draw the remainder which is their due and cannot be obtained until the deduction is made.
Mr Wolcott wishes for the necessary certificate from your office as soon as possible in order to prepare the acts of this State for Settlement with the United States.
I am Sir with esteem yours &c
