West Point May 7 1788, Sir The stores which you directed to be packed up, in your letter of April 29th. Are now ready to be Delivered to Captain Bradford. Except, the seven oil cloths for Artillery, of which there is none in store. And the 300 yards of Rope for Haliyards, for which there is no rope suitable, as the least we have is such rope. The Honorable Major General Knox Secretary at War. I have given Mr Isaac Garrison a certificate for delivering one hundred and fourteen Cords of Wood for the use of his Garrison, amount to the sum of One hundred and fourteen pounds New York Currency.
