[303] Philadelphia Feb 8 Sir I am sorry of troubling you again, your please to inform me when I come to New York — as I understand from Mr Pierce that Congress does business I am Sir Y^r J R De Haas John Nicholson Esq^r Office of Army Accounts New York Feb 11^th 1788 Sir Lieutenant Greenburg Hughes late of the 6— regiment Pennsylvanea, is now here for the purpose of settling his accounts with the United States — I am prevented from closing them for want of the Muster & pay rolls of Captain Jacob Humphreys Company from the date of Enlistment to the 1^st August 1777, which was I find by your Receipt are in your possession, as it will be attended with much expence to M^r Hughes to go for them, and as I wish to assist him, I must beg you will send by the first post the Muster rolls of that Company for April May June & July and the pay roll from the dates of Enlistments to the 1^st July 1777, you will pleas
