I am favored with your letter of the 8th Inst. advising the receipt of sundry Certificates. I return you many thanks for your early attention to my request, and have now to beg that as soon as the settlements are obtained, you will be so good to forward them to me, either by post, or a safe private hand — the most eligible conveyance I leave to your own choice.
It would give me pleasure to have it in my power to render you any service in this City — and on every occasion I expect you will freely command —
