Lieutenant Greenburg Hughes late of the 6 regiment Pennsylvan[ia], is now here for the purpose of settling his accounts with the United States — I am prevented from closing them for want of the Muster & pay rolls of Captain Jacob Humphreys Company from the date of Enlistment to the 1st August 1777, which as I find by your Receipt are in your possession, as it will be attended with much expence to Mr Hughes to go for them, and as I wish to oblige him, I must beg you will send by the first post the Muster rolls of that Company for April May June & July and the pay roll from the dates of Enlistments to the 1st July 1777, you will please
