Sir,
I have receiv[undecipherable] the 24th of Dec last [undecipherable] and men be[undecipherable] the Combs Regt [undecipherable] of the Officers of Col [undecipherable] Sheltons Regt of [undecipherable] persons who have been included in the settlements made by this State with their Line of the Army.
No part of Col Combs Regt was considered as part the quota of Connecticut after the first of January 1781, [undecipherable] a part of Col Sheltons Regt [undecipherable] considered as of the Line of said State [undecipherable] the first of January 1781. By the [undecipherable] commencement of service, you will find the [undecipherable] when the men were considered as belonging the Connecticut Line.
I do not find that the State has settled at any person belonging to Col Cranes Regt.
