[318] Joseph Howell Esq^r Boston Decemr 2^d 1787 Sir Your favor of 26^th November is come to hand, when it you request of us a return of the Picene Non commissioned Officers and privates of the Invalid Reg^t commanded by Col. Nichols. Gen^l Hagens Regimental Armands & Les Lauion. The Corps of Sappers & Miners artificers, and such other independant Corps as were considered as part of the Quotas of this State. We now enclose you a return of that part of Col Nicola's Reg^t of Invalids that were Stationed in Boston. Commanded by Capt. McLarland, also of the Sappers and Miners, and if you will look into the Box of papers forwarded to [undecipherable] Davis Esq^r by Royal Flint Esq^r Commissioner, you will find all the [undecipherable] Corps, which this State, which this State considered as there Quotas of the Continental Army. we have had no return of Armands or Las Lauion. what returns we now enclose you, with what Information you may Obtain by opening the Box mentioned, will afford you all the Information you request.
