Description

Price sends the November returns of ordnance and quartermasters stores care of Duncan. Asks for an order for the delivery of articles listed in the enclosed account, in order that Price may make the necessary receipts. Samuel Higby came to West Point and stated that he bought half the land adjoining Mr. Moor's from Mr. Connolly, including the house built by Generals Patterson and Huntington and that he wanted to take possession of the house. Price told Mr. Hibgy that the house was not for sale and forbade Higby from approaching the house until he (Higby) secured a written order from Knox.
