Sir

I read yours of Oct. 31 by Mr. Cleves yesterday – and Now forward The Ordnance & Stores you directed – Agreeable to the Enclosed Invoices.

As there was no vessel that I could depend upon, would sail Before some time next week. I have agreed with Mr. Duncan to transport them to New York for the Sum of Five pounds ten Shillings.

I have forwarded by Mr. Duncan the Returns of Ordnance and Quarter Masters Stores for the month of Oct 1787–
