The Commissioners of Army Accounts to whom was referred the Petition of W[illia]m Balyet late an aid de camp to General Found, beg leave to report That the Petioner had a regular appointment from his Excellency — and aid in 1776, and continued to act in that capacity until some time in [June?] 1779, [or] that on the 11^th of [undecipherable] being [undecipherable] him as to [having] [undecipherable] any further [strikethrough: [undecipherable] [undecipherable] did not permit him to act, in that [line of duty?]] any [undecipherable], did not permit him to act, in that [undecipherable] [undecipherable] that he went immediately after [that?] with the [Marine?] Office & entered in the [undecipherable] Office has [verified?], or being borne in the [Dragon?] friggate, in which [undecipherable] continued, and never after did duty as an Aid, or returned to the Army in any other [undecipherable] relation.
