Gentlemen On the 8^th instant, I did myself the honor to inform you Pound, that a Man was then in this town disposing of the public monies which [had been] were at Alexandria found and, Afterwards in [undecipherable] he sold [undecipherable] at 2 [undecipherable] Dollars for sixty [undecipherable] Debt for [undecipherable] [undecipherable] [undecipherable] M George Pickett a Merchant in this town.
