Dear Sir
Mr. Greenfield a Gentleman of my particular acquaintance of this City has informed me that he addressed a letter to me about two weeks ago relative to the Claim of Joseph Bradfield for two Cattle taken from him in the year 1777 the necessary papers to this Claim were enclosed in the letter - the Claim was presented to Mr. Milligan here who advised it being forwarded (thro’me) to his office as you have not mentioned the receipt of this Letter I beg you will apply to the Post Office for it & procure it (the postage I am informed is paid and then present it to Mr. Fanall for Liquidation if any objection should arise the papers may be left untill my return.
