In answer to Mr Pierce's letter of the 25 July 1787 I can inform you that Pennsylvania settled the depreciation of pay of none of the Officers of Maryland Regiment except [undecipherable] Stephen Moylan Doctor H. Mc[undecipherable] Captain Craig Captain Mansfield [undecipherable] Sullivan William Thompson [undecipherable] Doct W. Cathcart & William Henderson [undecipherable] — he writes for the certificates of the Virginia officers I do not know them from the officers from other States — but would wish you to take with you such as you desire
