Dear Sir
I have met with a serious case — Andrew Forrest late of the 3 Regiment has had his depreciation Bills till August 1780 — I have Mr Carletons Certificate that he was cashiered in October 1780 — The other day when John Woodside was over he had with him a Copy of the Proceedings of the Committee of arrangement of the Army in 1778 from this it appears he would have been arranged therein but that he resigned to Cold Richd Butler and seemed not to be continued — I wish you would refer to any Army papers you have and give me your sentiments, and the result of your Opinion and what you find respecting this Gentlemans case —
I am Dear Sir
