Agreeably to your directions I herewith [send?] the accounts of Col. John Wells Corps which are now forwarded for your approbation and [undecipherable] — The most of the Soldiers have [undecipherable] in [their?] arrears yet there are some [wanting?] for a payment and the [undecipherable] whose situation is [disagreeable?] being in Town have [undecipherable: caused me?] to [present?] on the Loan Office as much as will [pay] off the whole arrears of such as are now [waiting?] for their money. [I] hope that this will be [approved?] of and that the Warrants for the whole balance may be forwarded as early as convenient. I am very respectfully.
