[273] Richmond May 11^th 1787 Gen Knox Sir Agreeably to your directions I herewith [undecipherable] the accounts of Col. [undecipherable] Wills Corps which are now forwarded for your approbation and [undecipherable]— The most of the [undecipherable: Soldiers?] have [undecipherable] in their arrears yet their are some [undecipherable] for a payment and the Officers whose situation is disagreeable being in Town have [undecipherable] to prevent on the Loan Officer to advance as much as will pay off the whole arrears of such as are waiting for their money. I hope that this will be approved of and that the Warrants for the whole balance may be forwarded as early as convenient.
