I have received your favor of the 19th ulto enclosing two Certificates in favor of George Morley —
Herewith I send you a claim upon the property of the late a Soldier of the 4th Regt of artillery (see note) duly sworn to in order to obtain a Certificate in amount which altho not actual Specie will be better than Nothing. for the supplies to, and Care of the Soldier, — in order to do the poor woman the poor woman the best justice but let it come out of the pay for 1782.
I also send you an order for the pay due John Jones from the United States, and by virtue thereof request you to obtain and send me the Certificate due his widow. — I am with usual regard
