I have inclosed Captain John Hobbs Commission &
Power to receive his pay & depreciation as a Disbanded Officer in
1773 — the depreciation may be had here of the Comptroller
knows what Moneys he received (if any) you well be so very
obliging to inform me or the comptroller any charges against
him and what credit given him that a settlement of
what is due him may be had at Philadelphia — he
says that he did not receive the years pay promised
him by Congress. your speedy answer as I have but
short time to stay in Philadelphia will much Ably
