I mentioned to you in some of my Letters that the money I lodged at Charlotte in No Carolina was in Charleston in the possession of a Mr Thomas Commander Russell and that I was at a loss whether to let it remain there or send for it here, as I presumed it would be ordered northerly the bringing it here was in my opinion unnecessary——-
