Dear Sir
Your favor of the 21 December last is duly received. I am now ready to deliver the Certificate for the balance of Pay and Gratuity due to Prince Manning amounting to 90 6/90 dollars as soon as an Order from him is forwarded for that purpose the Certificates for his Pay for the years 1780 1781 & 1782 have been given to the Agents of the line which if he has not received may still be with Mr Nicholson. Their Numbers and Sums are 6308[undecipherable] 33 [undecipherable]/90 dollars 6[undecipherable]3[undecipherable]43 for [undecipherable] dollars & 69033 for 20 dollars enclosed you will receive Mannings discharge — when you write please inform me in what manner the Certificate is to be sent and put your letter under cover to John Price Esq.
