Pay Table Office Jan 9th 1787 Sir I have the honor to enclose to your excellency the accounts referred to in an act of the General assembly passed last October, with a letter containing the reasons why those acco should be credited to the state on the existing requisitions of congress. Mr Pierce Commissioner of Army Accounts has directed me to apply to your excellency for copies of the regimented agents receipts in order that settlements may be made with them agreeably as the order of last assembly. I must therefore request that in case they are in your hands your excellency would be pleased to transmit them to this office. I am with great respect your excellencies most obed and humble servant.
