Dear Sir
I have lately been at Philadelphia when I see General Broadhead, who informed me that he had settled All his Public Accounts and had received the whole of his final settlements except about 400 Dollars which was left in the Paymaster hands. As I could not have my Public Securities in till his Accounts were fully settled (he being the commanding Officer in the Regiment to which I belonged and the receiver of all monies [undecipherable] to the Public) I presume now there will be no difficulty
