Dear Sir

I think (undecipherable) present that you had but, send to me, all the vouchers and receipts received by you from Mr Thomas, receiving only in you, (undecipherable) the, final settlement certificates you received from him, of which certificates I wish you to send me a list and a receipt from your office to account for the same to the United States either by a delevery to the persons to whom they belong or to be deposited in the same manner as the other certificates which shall be delivered into you by the agents of the lines. Mr King will want the vouchers for his settlement, and the certificates on (undecipherable) to remain in the (undecipherable) ready for the claimants.

On the 7 September last, I inclosed to the Governor of your state copies of the receipts of the agents of your lines. sufficiently explicit of the inconveniences you then labor under and i will endeavor to (undecipherable) them.

The accounts of the state extacted from the corps of their office are enclosed.

Congriefs have not made an (undecipherable) since the commencement of it (undecipherable). The appointments therefore of the Commissioners you mention has not been made. I am P P
