[?] recovering only in your hand the final settlement certificates you received from him. of which [?] I wish you to send me a list & [?] from your office to account for the sums to the United States, either by a delivery to the persons to whom they belong or to be deposited in the same plain manner as the other certificates what shall be delivered in to you by the Agents of the Laws. for & I hang [?] will want the vouchers for [?] and the certificates ought to remain in the state ready for the claimants. On the [?] of September last I enclosed to the Government of your State coppies of the receipts of the agents of your [?] what I expected be wont the lives over to the Officer appointed & settle their accouunts. I informed them also that [?] [?] permitted to the [?] of any Certificates, were in [?] of the [?] officer od your State, for their [?] of teaching the agents accounts. I am [?] therefore request that you will be pleased to deliver them expect [?] for [?] & regulars [?] & to inform me should you fail in obtaining them or should they not be [?} exploit and [?] of the inconveniences you than labor under & I will endeavor to [?] them.
