New York 29. November 1786
My dear Wadsworth — Mr King will have explained every thing, and I hope to your Satisfaction.
You will receive by this post a letter from the board of treasury, and the terms of the proposed contracts, which I have sent to Mr Morris. A similar letter will be written to him tomorrow. On the receipt of his answer in the affirmative it will be absolutely necessary for you to repair to Philadelphia in order to make your private arrangements with each other. I sincerely hope that you will not find any insurmountable difficulty in making this journey without which the affair cannot be completed.
I pray you to present my compliments to Mrs Wadsworth & the young ladies, and also to Mrs & Mr King.
I am my dear
Your affectionate
Humble Servant
