[104.] New York October 25^th 1786 Dear Sir, Yours respecting Moutiers pay has been attended to — I have made out his claim for commutation as I am ready to deliver the certificate to Doct. Craige agreeably to your request when he shall for it — a copy of the account I now enclose — his further claims must be referred to [undecipherable] remim the resolve of December 31^st 1781 arranges all officers not rejected by the then Secretary at War and who did not belong to the line of a particular State — Gen. [undecipherable] New York December 7^th 1786 Dear Sir, Your accounts and transactions at the entered in the Public Books are not sufficiently paged as to admit you to give up the bonds taken as security — when there is any uncertainty remaining respecting the Public monies unaccounted for — and you cannot have a Quietus untill I close myself here over the accounts — and untill I have the receipts for the certificates you have issued which last are absolutely [undecipherable] to the public
