[168] S^ir New York October 23^d 1786 Agreeably to your request of the 19 Inst^t I have Inclosed you a return of the Names of the Men, recruited by Cap^t Samuel Grainger this Officer Specifying the date of their several enlistments excepting Thomas Watson whose time of enlistment does not appear on the Original return — It is not in my power to inform you of the names of the Men inlisted by Lieut Fow[undecipherable] as they are not specified in the return by the Auditor it appears that forty one of the men have been passed to his Credit — S Am [undecipherable] Oliver Wolcott Esq^r --- S^ir New York October 26^th 1786 Your Letter & Receipt of the 19 Instant are come to hand.
