This day I have forwarded to Mr Nicholson a pay roll found among the vouchers of Morse & Caldwell for the pay of Colo D Haas Regiment for November and December 1776 in which are included all the stoppages that were made from the Regiment from the first payment — Colo D Haas having received the balance you will have to apply to the Estate for what may be due your company as it is evident the United States fully satisfied the Regiment for their services — I am ready to deliver your papers to Your order
