I do my self the honor to re-inclose your
Theodosius Account, as I am precluded from the
admittance of it, by the resolution of Congress directing
that such claims should be produced to me before the
first day of August last I am &c
Col. Lee.

Enclosed are the result of my examination
into your pretentions to promotion, which I shall lay
before Congress, you will oblige me by re-inclosing
them after perusal. J.P.

I have received your favor, in closing
and respecting an Account of Subsistence due to
your Brother, it is out of my power to make any
Payment on it, and when it is done this Subsistence
with that of the line and the whole due to the Southern
Army must be Considered Adjusted and paid off at
once, there is however some difficulty in the Accounts
