Dr Sir
Will you be so obliging as to send me an account of the charges against Gent Deheas? I omitted to bring them also — If you could spare the book I left with you I would take pains to have his account drawn out regularly and sent with the vouchers for examination.
You will please to tell Mr Pierce to send me his instructions not to deliver Col. Mead any money untill he has deposited his accounts with the United States.

Agreeably to your request of the 3d Inst I have enclosed the charges which appear against General Dehaps in the books of this Office — The amount which you left shall be forwarded as soon as the charges of points one of the Officers [undecipherable: from] whom I expect him to settle his account.
