Dear Sir,
Several times I have troubled you in regard to my recruiting account, but never was so happy as to get an answer — The account of the 1st Regiment is in your Office — I can procure a Certificate from Colonel Farmer that I have sent a number of recruits to the State Regiments — The account being lost I do not know how to proceed but shall wait your directions, which will be of infinite service to Your Obedient.
