I acknowledge the receipt of your Letter dated 4th May last, inclosing two final Settlement Certificates, one in favor of myself No 92935 for One Hundred & Eighty two 68/90 Doll. The other in favor of T. Principal Butler No 92936 for Two hundred Dollars — I should have written you much sooner, only waiting for Mr Boudinot as a bearer, when alteration of affairs & with such as rendered it impossible for him to go sooner — I know you will do any thing in your power to oblige him. —
