That altho the Memorialist was deranged previous to the time in which these expences were incurred yet he has been considered as entitled to pay in Consequence of his being a Prisoner but whether he is entitled to this allowance of his expences in the same proportion with the other Officers by Virtue of the performance of his duty while a prisoner agreeable to the Spirit of the before mentioned resolution is a question which Your Commissioner begs leave to Submit for the determination of Congress ——

Sir On examination of the printed registers of my Certificates with the originals in this office I find the printers have made a number of errors, a list of which I have enclosed — You will therefore please to alter your printed copies agreeably to this Errata, and any further errors which may be discovered I will give you the earliest information of
