Sir,
I have received a Letter from General Heath informing me that the certificate No 35,807 has been presented you for payment of the Interest — that register on account of its not carrying indorsement with the printed Copies of any certificates furnished you by the Board of Treasury. I have reexamined that number and find the interest to commence from the 1st January 1783 agreeably to the face of the certificate — you will therefore please to alter the Interest of that number in the Register from 1st Decemr 1784 to the 1st Januy 1783.
