Sir
I have received a Letter from General Heath informing me that the certificate No 35,807 has been presented you for payment of the interest — but rejected on account of its not carrying indorsment with the printed Office of my certificates furnished you by the Board of Treasury. I have reexamined that number and find the interest to commence from the 8 January 1783 agreeably to the face of the certificate. you will therefore please to alter the Interest of that number in the Register from 8th Dccemr 1784 to the 8 Janry 1789.
