Ulto. did not reach me until a few days since I am ready to issue the Certificate retained from you for stoppages as soon as an order is sent for that purpose if an opportunity should not offer by some of you friends coming this way, you may draw the order in my favor directed to John Pierce Esqr. PMGenl. (& under cover to him) I will forward the Certificate by such conveyance as may offer, or as you may please to direct. I am &c J. Howell
