Sir, Agreeable to your request I laid the case of Serg^t Pollard before General Knox, who is of opinion that he cannot receive any other emolument from the United States than has already been given — The General does not at present recollect any thing relative to Pollard, and thinks it best for him to apply to the State he belongs to for a Pension — I am & [To] Imes Symonds.
