Prospect January 20^th 1786 177 After me have & patient waiting for your Settlement of Martin Armstrongs Account for Forage amounting if I remember rightly to £88. odd. which I gave you the [underline: Voucher] to pay for immediately on my receipt of it from M^r Heydon in December 1783. I must now apply to you in a more Serious manner than I have done. I mean that you not only produce to me his Voucher for the Payment of it, but that you allow him some compensation for the Detention of the Balance from him which he says is 85. some Shillings. — I know of no way you can do this more so by coming here immediately — or by calling on the Alburns or Major Heydon in Philadelphia, and producing to them the Receipts for the Partial payments you made to M^r Armstrong, & leaving the Balance with either of them to be paid to his order as to me for his use — You have treated me ill by not doing this before, and I beg it not be any longer delayed. My Account with M^r Heydon remains open for want of this single Voucher, and I cannot, nor ought not to be paid the Balance until it be provided.
