Military Cards] New York January 19 1786 have examined into the accounts of this Office & the Treasury I do not find that Col. Livingston has settled any account for advances made by him in Canada — nor do I find him charged with any further sums than what is contained in the enclosed Papers — those marked × have been accounted for by paying the same to the Officers of this regiment — those vouched [that] do not appear to be proper, charges [undecipherable: need a new account] for any supplies he may have furnished, but to be accounted for with me on his final settlement — should any further information be wanting I will procure it from with pleasure; at present I can think of nothing further — I drew a number of prizes in the lottery for which I wish to have your certificate — If you can [undecipherable] the same, must I apply to you at Philadelphia — [undecipherable] with you here before you [undecipherable] taking for the [undecipherable] of Individuals?
