I now forward the returns for the month of Decemr 1785.
I wrote you on ye 9th [strikethrough: of] of Decemr [18?] the Propriety of a Physician to come and attend the Sick at this place — there is some Sick here at present but I have not Called when any One to attend them at York —
One of the recruiting Serjeants in Connecticut has but one more man & the is unfit for a Soldier by reason of a Continual running from whence Present So that he Cannot wear his Accoutrements, he was Despit say by Baron Stiben upon the Same Account for four years — I Shall not give him any Clothing till you Indicate — he is very inclined to be Discharged and his excuse nothing from the Public —
