I beg you the favour to enclose you a Certificate in favor of Cap. William foce, also a letter to Mr. Robinson on the subject of Cap Coes pay as superintending officer, should they you will be kind enough to forward and you'll oblige

Your favor of the 23 Dec. last with its enclosures came to hand — Agreeable to your request I now enclose you the Certificates of pay due Cap. John Hughes, also those of Sergt. William [undecipherable] — these Gentlemen were of the Quota of your State, and the Certificates obtained agme from Major [undecipherable] in consequence of some charges the State of Maryland had against them those charges. Maryland credits these Gentlemen and their Certificates in [undecipherable] things as you will observe by the enclosed Account, which I thought proper to transmit for the information of the [undecipherable] concerned — You will please to transmit me a receipt for the Certificates — I thank you for your attention in forwarding my request, and by a continuance and [undecipherable] of your favors —
