In the return of Sub-commissary Officers transmitted you, I find on examination that there enters Capt William Gee late of the 6th Regiment — This Office has received the nominal pay with those of the regiment — Capt Gee has settled his accounts with the United States, as appears on record in this Office — I will thank you for a copy of Capt Wm Garrisons Pay of depreciation as settled by you, he has an account still open with the United States which cannot be closed without your assistance.
