Dear Sir,
Your letter to Mr Dean relative to giving your office I have forwarded to him in Connecticut where at this time he is on a visit to his friends — The contents go on rapidly with the register, and I much fear that the book will be obliges for want of your attention, you earnestly entreat you to forward them on immediately, either by post, or such other conveyance as you may think proper — as a calculation I find that your register will be wanted in twenty four days from this — the time is short, and the necessity of having them at the expiration of this time is great. Please therefore, you will exert your good talents on this occasion.
