I received yours of 5th of Novr, also the Clothing agreeable to the Invoice, — Those sent by Mr Isaac Garrison are handed, and Sytten Waggon Covers agreeable to your Letter —
There was one Serjeant of the Connecticut troops here, Bvt Major Wyllys's, Captain being back to the State for the purpose of recruiting, so that I have not a fund for the relief of Lieut Hudson. Only Sergt Dale, and I have just his Acct eighty and gave him the twenty dollars for his Subsistance, but I think Sergt Hudson will report of your Office — Lieut Williams has been Sergt with him —
Received is the Order for the Paymaster to send the Officers accounts, also [undecipherable] receipt for the money which I Draw upon Mr Dunnetto Osborne.
I have asked all the Physicians near this place and found but One that will come here to attend the forte, that is a Mr Hudjon of Newborough, and he will not attend under three dollars per Visit. I shall give him no answer till you inform — me within your opinion of it is well.
