A report from the board of treasury, to which was referred a petition of Lieut. Nichols and Richard Boyd agents to the invalide corps and Harens regiments, in behalf of themselves with age nts of Armands Corps, the agent at artife. in and the corps of Sappers and miners.
Resolved That when the agents appointed to the certificate orders, or the balances due to the corps of the late continental army (nor appertaining to any state) shall have finally adjusted the accounts of their respective corps with the commissioners of army accounts the board of treasury be, and it is hereby authorised, to ascertain and report to Congress, such compensation as from the report of the said Commissioners, they shall judge intimated to the justice of the respective —
Resolved. That the certificates which are or delivered to the respective agents above mentioned, to the continental troops, to whom they belong be returned to the commissioners of army accounts, with whom the said agents are to settle the accounts of their agents, relative to the balances due to the individuals aforesaid, and the commissioners for army accounts shall transmit, such remaining certificates to the Supreme executive authority of the State, in which the parties having a right to receive the same, are enrolled in the same manner as is provided for in the resolves of Congress of the 3d of November 1785 and No of May 1785 in the case of regimentals appertaining to the several States.
