Public Service Lieutenant Colonel Fish at Albany War Office War Office October 7th : 1785 Sir I am informed by Mr Calbrath that two Prisoners have arrived at Fort Schuyler and that a few others may be expected shortly who will be in want of some provisions to help them down the Country. I must request the favour of you before you leave Albany, to ascertain more particularly the number of Prisoners and Indians that are expected at Fort Schuyler and if you should deem it necessary, send off an adequate supply from thence for their use, the transportation whereof I will replace on your return to this City - Mr Calbrath having performed the issuing Business for the Prisoners and Indians who have hitherto arrived there, I think you had better write him on the subject and desire a continuance thereof from the supplies which you shall forward to that Post.
